setting up this forum

I'm a bit unsure how to best create forums under this general category. One possibility is to simply use the module structure established for the course, each of which could potentially have sub-forums, to give structure to various aspects of what is covered within each module. Such sub-forums can easily be created "on the fly," as the need arises. All such considerations notwithstanding, however, we surely don't want there to be so much complexity in the structure that it becomes difficult where to post a given article that one writes or to find what one is seeking retrospectively by means of the search function.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
