As it comes, “out of the box,” the phpBB software used to manage this forum system places a lot of legalese on this registration page. That text has been removed, since we in the Cal alumni “Food, Culture & Environment” shouldn’t need to read, think about, or agree to a set of terms and conditions that, while they might be necessary under other conditions, are unnecessary in our situation. I will assume that we all know how to express ourselves in a courteous respectful manner and use common sense. If, however, a problem arises... Well, we can cross that bridge if and when we come to it.
